Mark Blosser / Jon Watte | kiloWatt X-port v1.5.1 1.29 MB |
Import / Export |
Compiled / Description | ||
10.06.2014 kW X-port can export a scene as geometry and animation out of Max. It correctly exports geometry skinned with the ISkin modifier, as well as regular objects, with up to 4 channels of UV data, tangents, binormals, and other useful geometry options. Additionally, it can re-write texture references (turn them relative, and/or change the extension of all textures to .dds), and ignore (or include) geometry with no material assigned. For animations, both skinned and un-skinned animations are supported, and you can define multiple animations as separate subsets of the Max timeline. Each has its own name, and they can even have different time scales. This version from Mark Blosser has a few improvements over the last Jon Watte version, including an option to disable 'ticks' to control the timing of animations and support for the latest Max versions. |

04.04.2014 Crosswalk was originally a Softimage initiative to help transfer XSI content in and out of Max and Maya pipelines using the latest dotXSI, COLLADA, and FBX standards. Crosswalk for Max is optimized for dotXSI version 6.0, enabling Max to read the dotXSI format using the plugin. Max doesn't need to be installed on the same system as XSI to enable data transfer. |
